This site is here to put some of Skagit Valley's finest singer song writers out there for you to hear. These artists are yet "undiscovered",

but are wonderful and

creative people. who write songs that the world needs to hear. Music can not thrive in a vacuum, so, here to share some of the best songs you will ever hear, are Skagit Valley's finest.

John Holmes is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/studio tech/etc. kind of guy, and a good friend.

I don't know Michael O'Neal very well, but he's a very steady and creative drummer. I am pleased to have worked with him.

Mark Gowan plays bass. He is very creative and always adds a new twist to a tune.

Mark Warren is, well, a helluva guitar player. He plays nearly all the lead on my CD, "Soul Divine", and it's worth the money just to hear his guitar.

Then there is Li Gold, who I don't know what to say, cuz that's me, and you'll have to judge for yourself how great or crummy I am! (click the link up top)

And Last, but never least is my good friend Kathleen Luther, who not only plays wonderful percussion, but also gives unending moral support! I love ya, Kathleen!

"Soul Divine", a CD by artist Li Gold.

Just sit back and enjoy the 13 tunes on this album (of course you might have a great desire to get up and dance to a few of them... oh, go ahead!), as they take you down an interesting path of musical and lyrical emotion. Recorded at the Wired Homes Studio in N.W. Washington, "Soul Divine" is easy to listen to with a beuatiful blend of voice and instrument. Suddenly it's at the end, and, in the words of the song you "can't believe it's over!" Just push play.

Li Gold

Born in Sedro -Wooley Washington, Li wrote her first song in the summer between first and second grade, although her first public preformance was at the age of one year, when she sang along loudly with a wedding singer.
Learning to play guitar in the second grade on her father's old red Fender electric, she first played "Tom Dooley" over and over until she could sing and change chords just right. The rest is history, and as you will find, some of the best music and lyrics you will hear.

Li has written over two hundred songs and has sung with bands like the "Stonetones", the "Splinters", and "Slick" to name three.

Now, after writing songs and preforming for over fourty years, Li has finished her first solo CD, called "Soul Divine", to be released this summer (2007). Hopefully you will check it out.
